Acoustic wind tunnel design

Creo participated in the design of the Poul la Cour Wind Tunnel at DTU Risö, one of the biggest university owned tunnels in the world.

Our experts contributed to the design and construction of the Poul La Cour wind tunnel at DTU Risö. Our solutions included adding acoustic perforated liners along the 4.7 m-diameter fan hub as well as acoustically absorbant guide vanes to redirect the flow while maintaining a low noise level in the tunnel.
