Real-time non-destructive testing

We developed a unique solution for real-time detection of defects in composite plates using acousto-ultrasonic tomography (AUT).

We have developed and tested a prototype of non-destructive testing system, based on Acousto-Ultrasonic Tomography (AUT). Using an array of ultrasonic sensor probes, our solution is able to detect non-visible defects in thin composite plates in real time by comparing the tested section with a healthy section. Our solution could be applied to various applications such as turbine blades, composite automotive chassis, composite bike frames, etc. Please contact us if you would like to hear more.
